Ok, we're shooting with wild sound for the first time. I know that in order to sync sound with picture in editing you need to match the line-up of the chevrons on your clapperboard (check) with the 'clap' of the sticks on the soundtrack (check), but..
how do you marry the two together if you're doing an endboard?

same way you would do it for a normal slate, reel to the end of your footage sync up the sound then reel to the start of your end board listen for 'action' then cut from there.
i dunno if you know this but just in case, to do an end board you:
(1) turn the board upside down
(2) at the end of the take - the cam op will pull out
(3) put the slate into shot - say "Clap On End, Slate # Take #"
(4) close the sticks
